Customer Support Analyst - Video Specialist

We are looking for a Software QA Specialist to perform quality assurance functions for software maintenance and development projects.

Responsibilities Include:

• Draft and execute test procedures and scripts
• Track defects through test cycle to resolution
• Interpret data and results of test cases
• Maintain test and defect logs using defect tracking software
• Assist in preparation of technical documentation for software release
• Assist in training service personnel with new or revised software
• Trouble-shoot problems and determine the cause

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Meteorology preferred
• Two to five years experience and training in quality assurance, test tools and test automation preferred
• QA certification preferred

• Weather Central Inc product knowledge preferred
• Microsoft Office Products experience required
• Self-directed and able to work independently
• Work from written and verbal instructions
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Ability/desire to work on sometimes tedious tasks
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good trouble-shooting skills
• Ability to work with computer hardware
• Comfortable working with variety of people—programmers, sales, service, product managers
